One log of everything that happened at the store: AutoBook Agent, staff, customer and system actions in one day-grouped timeline. Three views: All, What AutoBook Agent did, and Setup changes (managers: who changed what). Filters, search, a one-customer view, a detail panel and CSV export.
Activity is the store's one log: a live record of everything that happened, newest first and grouped by day. Every customer message, every reply from AutoBook Agent or a rep, every booking, hand-off, call and outcome, and (for managers) every follow-up decision AutoBook Agent made and every change anyone made to the store's setup. Everyone has it: open Activity from the Reports group in the left menu.
Every row reads the same way: who · did what · to whom, as a plain sentence, for example AutoBook Agent sent Marcus Reyes a follow-up or Jamie Lau changed Booking hours. The mark at the left shows the kind of actor: AutoBook Agent's own mark, filled initials for staff, outlined initials for a customer, and a gear for a system (a delivery provider, a sync, an integration). The line underneath shows the message itself, an old → new change, or the facts, plus the outcome where there is one.
The three views: All, What AutoBook Agent did, Setup changes
All
The whole stream in one timeline. Reps see their own customers plus the unassigned pool; managers see the whole store. The page opens here.
What AutoBook Agent did
Everyone sees what AutoBook Agent did with the customers they can see. Managers and admins also see each follow-up decision: every follow-up it sent, every draft it held for approval, every send that failed, why, and what the customer did next. Open the thread from any entry, or press Correct it to tell AutoBook Agent what it should have done. (This used to be the Agent Log.)
Setup changes
Managers and admins. Who changed what: settings, staff and roles, dealership records, integrations, appointment and service events, consent changes, calls and integration deliveries, exportable to CSV. This was the Audit log. Owners and admins also see a System health panel beside it.
| Row | What it means |
|---|
Message | A message from the customer, AutoBook Agent or a rep. Open the row to read it in full. |
Booking | A visit was booked, by AutoBook Agent or a rep. |
Hand-off | AutoBook Agent asked staff for help on a conversation, or someone answered. |
Readiness | A deal's buying-readiness score changed (for example, rose 40 to 65). |
Call | A phone call, inbound or outbound, with its status and length. |
Outcome | A deal was marked sold or lost. |
Service | A service request was filed or a service event was recorded. |
Consent / Opt-out | A customer opted in or out of a channel, shown with the old and new state. |
Decision | What AutoBook Agent decided on a follow-up (sent, held for approval or failed) and the outcome. In What AutoBook Agent did. |
Setup change | A setting, staff record, dealership or integration changed, shown as old → new. In Setup changes. |
Delivery | An integration delivery (a webhook, a lead push) succeeded or failed. In Setup changes. |
Filtering and searching the Activity log
Scope: All / Mine / Unassigned
Mine shows only conversations assigned to you. Unassigned shows the pool AutoBook Agent is handling with no rep yet. All is the default.
Who
In Filters, narrow to People, AutoBook Agent, Customers or System. Problems shows only what failed: a send, a delivery, a call. An active filter also shows in the strip above the list.
Area and Person
Area narrows to one part of the store (bookings, service, staff, integrations and so on). Person (managers) shows only what one member of staff did.
Search
The search box matches the words on the rows: a message's text, the vehicle on a booking, what a hand-off asked, a setting's name. It searches your full history, not just what's loaded, and needs at least two characters.
Dealership
Everything is scoped to the dealership you're working in. To see another store, switch dealership from the store row at the top of the left menu. A row that belongs to no single dealership is labelled Group-level.
Seeing one customer's history
When Activity opens with a customer already chosen, it shows only that person's history in one list, with a chip at the top naming them; click the chip to go back to everyone. The view is a link you can share or bookmark. A customer's own log is also on their record: open the customer, then the History tab, then Activity, with filter chips and Show more.
Opening a row and acting on it
1
Open the detail panel
Click any row to open it at the side: what was sent, the change, the details, the outcome.
2
Go where you can act
The panel carries the row's own buttons: Open thread or Open customer for a conversation, Correct it for an AutoBook Agent decision, Open setting for a setup change. Activity itself never edits or undoes anything.
3
Go further back
Press Load older at the bottom of the list. When there is nothing older, the footer says End of the stream.
Finding who changed a setting (Setup changes)
1
Open Setup changes
On Activity, pick the Setup changes view (managers and admins, or anyone allowed to view logs).
2
Narrow it
Use Area (for example Settings or Staff), Person, or search the setting's name.
3
Read the change
Each row names what changed, who did it, the dealership (or Group-level) and when, with the old and new values. Open setting goes straight to it.
| Area | What it covers |
|---|
Staff | Staff invited, updated, activated, deactivated or removed; role changes |
Dealership | Dealerships created or updated |
Settings | Configuration and booking changes, such as appointment types created, updated or deleted |
Integration | Lead and CRM connections created, updated or removed, and their deliveries (once called Webhook) |
Dealer | Group-wide dealer setting changes |
Exporting the log to CSV
Managers, admins and anyone allowed to view logs get Export CSV on the toolbar. It downloads the rows currently shown (time, kind of actor, person, action, area, outcome, source and the raw record) for your records or a compliance request.
Each source is read up to a limit. When a limit is reached, or part of the stream could not load, the page says so (with a retry) rather than pretending the list is complete. If there are unread notices on screen, Mark notices read clears them.
What's not in the log
Activity shows completed actions. Replies from AutoBook Agent waiting for approval (on a channel set to Approve first) are not counted as messages; approve them from the Inbox (the held draft shows under What AutoBook Agent did). A phone call shows as one Call row, not a transcript; open the customer's record to read the transcript. Activity covers every channel your store has turned on, and service rows appear from the day the store is created.
Why don't I see the whole store's activity?
Reps see their own customers plus the unassigned pool, in All and What AutoBook Agent did. Managers see the whole dealership, plus each follow-up decision AutoBook Agent made. Setup changes is for managers and admins. Switch dealership from the store row at the top of the left menu to see another store.
A row says "A rep" instead of a name. What's that?
A real staff action where we couldn't match the name, for example a deactivated profile. It's never AutoBook Agent: its actions always say AutoBook Agent.
What does "Group-level" mean on a row?
The row belongs to the dealer group rather than one dealership: a group-wide setting, or an older record with no dealership. It's shown and labelled, not hidden.
Can I act on something right from Activity?
Open the row and use its buttons: Open thread takes you to the conversation (reply from the box there to write to the customer, or set them to Approve first to see AutoBook Agent's messages before they go), Correct it tells AutoBook Agent what it should have done, Open setting takes you to the setting.
Can I delete or edit a log entry?
No. The log is read-only so the record stays trustworthy.
Where did the Audit log and the Agent Log go?
The Audit log is the Setup changes view (old bookmarks open it there). The Agent Log is the What AutoBook Agent did view.
Search found nothing, but I know the message exists. Why?
Search matches the text on the row, so a word that only appears in a customer's name won't match; open that customer instead. Your scope, Who and Area filters also still apply; clear them and search again.
I changed a setting but don't see it yet.
