AutoBook Agent is the AI that answers your customers across chat, text, email, and phone, books appointments, and loops in a rep when one is needed.
AutoBook Agent is AutoBook's autonomous AI that works your dealership's conversations. It greets and answers customers in real time, figures out what they are looking for, books test drives and appointments, and brings in a person the moment one is genuinely needed, keeping a record of every conversation so nothing slips through. That name is for you and your team: customers never see it, and to them it simply speaks for your store. Ask AI is a different helper: the one staff ask questions of ("how do I…", "who is waiting on me?").
Talks on every channel
Website chat, text (SMS), email, and phone calls. AutoBook Agent keeps one shared memory of each customer across all of them.
Works the deal
Every sales conversation becomes a deal in your Sales pipeline, scored for buying-readiness so your team knows who to call first. Service conversations open a service ticket for your Service desk instead.
Loops in your team
When AutoBook Agent needs a detail only a person knows, it asks a rep a question and tells the customer it is checking. If nobody answers in time, it sends its own best answer, so the customer is never left waiting. When a customer asks for a person, it hands the work to their rep, who gets one notice. Reps can reply to a customer while AutoBook Agent stays on, or set a customer to Approve first to see AutoBook Agent’s messages before they go. If the rep does not get to it in time, AutoBook Agent answers the customer; the work stays with the rep, who owns their customers.
Which channels answer
Every channel your store has turned on
AutoBook Agent answers on website chat, text, email and phone. Text and calls start once your dealership has a number (Settings → Phone & texting). Email starts once it is turned on.
Two desks: Sales and Service
Each dealership has a Sales desk and a Service desk, each with its own phone number. The two desks are equal: a conversation belongs to the desk it is about, and messages to the customer go out from that desk's number. Texts and calls take the desk of the number used. A website chat or a new email is filed at the customer's first real topic, never assumed to be Sales. A conversation never moves desks: if a customer moves from a sales question to a service one, AutoBook Agent handles it in place and opens a conversation on the other desk, telling the customer which number will follow up. Staff work their own desk and can view the other desk's conversations that carry their desk's work; people on both desks, and managers who see every customer, get both desks.
Where your work shows up: To do and Inbox
To do lists the customers who need you, most urgent first, one row per customer. The Inbox holds every conversation on your desk. Every row shows how it ends: its main button opens the work (or swipe it in the app).
Groups and dealerships
AutoBook is organized as a dealer group (your company) made up of one or more dealerships (each rooftop). Almost every setting is configured per dealership, so each store runs independently, the AutoBook Agent master switch included: pausing AutoBook Agent silences the store you are on, not the others. Billing and your plan are the group-wide exception.
