Edit what customers see when they book you (photo, name, title, 100-character bio, languages) and share your personal booking links, all on your Profile page; change your password on Security.
Your rep profile is what customers see when they pick a sales consultant on your dealership's booking page. Open it from your name and photo at the bottom of the left sidebar (on a phone, your avatar in the top-right) → Profile. The Profile page has About you (photo, name, title, phones, bio, languages) and Booking links, plus Your writing voice when your dealership has turned that on. Your sign-in email and password are on the Security page beside it.
What customers see
Photo, name & title
Your first and last name, Job title and profile photo appear on your card. A friendly, real headshot earns more direct bookings than an empty avatar.
Bio (100 characters)
A short line shown when customers pick a consultant. It stops at 100 characters, so keep it punchy (for example "10 yrs on the floor. Ask me about EVs and trade-ins.").
Languages
The languages you speak, so customers who prefer another language can choose you with confidence.
Editing your bio, title or languages
1
Open your Profile
Your name and photo → Profile, section About you.
2
Name, title and phones
Update First name, Last name, Job title and Mobile number. Your mobile is for callbacks and your team; store calls ring the AutoBook app, never this number. Personal cell number is for your team only and never shown to customers.
3
Write your bio
Edit Bio. The counter under it shows how many of your 100 characters you've used.
4
Add languages
In Languages, type a language and press Enter or click Add. Each one shows as a tag; click its × to remove it.
5
Save
Click Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page (Discard undoes your edits).
In the AutoBook app, open the Me tab and tap Edit profile to change your name and phone.
Changing your profile photo
On the Profile page, under Profile photo, click Change photo, take or pick a picture (under 5MB), and frame it. Then click Save changes so the new photo goes live. In the app, open Me and tap Change photo.
No Change photo button?
Whether reps may upload their own photo is a per-dealership setting your administrator controls. Your photo is shared across every store you work at, so the strictest store wins. If it's off, ask your admin to set your photo on Staff & Roles or to turn the setting on.
Sharing your booking link
The Booking links section at the bottom of the Profile page has a row for each dealership you're assigned to, with two buttons. Click one to open the link, then copy it from your browser's address bar to share it. If the section says No links yet, you aren't assigned to a dealership yet: ask your manager.
| Button | What the link does |
|---|
Dealership page | Opens your store's main booking page, where the customer picks any available consultant. |
Your direct link | Books straight with you. Put it in your email signature, texts and social posts so customers land on your profile. |
Your writing voice
When your dealership has turned on Write in each rep's own voice, your Profile has a Your writing voice section (in the app: Me → Writing voice). It shows how AutoBook Agent writes to your customers when it writes for you, and only you can see it. While your dealership has it off, the section isn't there.
- AutoBook Agent writes in my voice is on by default. On, your customers' texts and emails sound like you. Off, they're written in the dealership's voice.
- It learns only from messages you type yourself, never from AutoBook Agent's drafts, Ask AI or staff notes. Texts and emails are learned separately: pick Texts or Emails at the top. Until it has 10 of one kind, that tab shows how many you've typed (for example "6 of 10 texts you've typed yourself") and your customers get the dealership's voice.
- Once it's ready you see a short summary of how you write and Messages it learns from, your own messages with customer details blanked out. Press Remove on any you don't want it to copy.
- Start over clears what it learned and learns again from your next messages. You have 5 seconds to Undo.
- The first time your voice is ready, AutoBook Agent shows you a few sample replies once: Looks good, Edit my examples or Turn off.
- Customers with no assigned rep, the service desk and phone calls always get the dealership's voice.
Changing your password or sign-in email
Go to your name and photo → Profile → Security. Click Change password, enter your Current password, then a new one (at least 8 characters, including a number), confirm it, and click Update password. It changes right away; you stay signed in. Your sign-in email is shown there but is read-only: contact support@auto-book.ca to change it.
Two-factor sign-in
On Security → Two-factor sign-in, click Set up to add an authenticator app. Once it is on, signing in on the web or in the app asks for the 6-digit code after your password. Set it up on the web; the AutoBook app only asks for the code. Lost your phone? Contact support@auto-book.ca to have the old authenticator removed.
Why doesn't my profile show on the booking page?
Check Accept bookings on your Availability page (and that you have weekly hours there). You also need to be assigned to the store, on its Sales desk, and set up for at least one appointment type; your manager's staff sheet for you names whatever is missing. This only affects whether customers can book you; it has nothing to do with your account being active.
Can I change my email myself?
No. It's read-only on the Security page. Contact support to change your sign-in email.
How long can my bio be?
100 characters. The counter under Bio on your Profile page shows how much you've used.
Where do I connect my calendar or set notifications?
Those are separate account pages: Calendar (Outlook sync; Google Calendar is not supported) and Notifications (push alerts, Email copies of alerts, appointment emails, the morning email, and Emails from AutoBook, the list of every email you get).
Where do I see how I handled my customers?
Under My reviews: in the web's left menu, or in the app under Me → My reviews. Each time a customer needed you, the review rates your handling 1 to 5 with the reasons and quotes from the conversation. It is read-only and only you and your managers see it.
